Knives made of the more common alpha beta alloy are generally softer and less likelier to resist dulling. This Beta Titanium knife is made of the rarer beta alloy, whose tighter molecular structure provides the greater strength required for cutting. To give you hair-shaving, microscopically-sharp, cutting serrations, each knife is custom ground and combines superior hardness with razor-sharp cutting, the double feature which knives made of the common alpha beta alloy, or off-the-shelf beta titanium cannot offer! The high abrasion resistant, stay-sharp beta titanium edge is rust free, a guarantee high carbon stainless steel knives cannot make. These award-winning knives stay sharper many times more than the leading beta titanium knives. What is special about this folder is not the unbeatable abrasion resistance and hardness of our custom-formulated beta titanium but its versatility: it works as an excellent BC knife but its lengthy 3 1/2" blade serves you on land too. Even more beneficial is that the server is corrosion resistant. It will not rust, will not get jammed, and requires little or no maintenance.
